Odell Ka'Ziel -new ref-

Thanks to that recent Tumblr post I uploaded here, I've had an urge to redraw my first Final Fantasy fan character, Odell. His old ref back then looks really dated now, so I felt like he could use an updated look.

So here he is with a battle-ready-looking-ish pose, wielding his trademark spiked flail. And I added one of his 8-bit battle sprites and one of his 8-bit overworld sprites that I customized... *sigh* I missed using those things. Making my own 8-bit FF comic just like Brian Clevinger and his 8 Bit Theater comic. I still love that webcomic.

As for Odell, he's a dual class Black Mage / Blue Mage type of guy, who has a love of knowledge, a suppressed thirst for power, an insatiable lust for adventure, and has a troublesome case of algophilia (love of pain; does not mean fetish for pain like masochism) due to him loving to learn new tricks by experiencing them first hand. It's sorta grown on him, to the point he becomes reckless and doesn't think things through. He's a fun guy. 8D

He knows a plethora of Black Magic spells, and several Blue Magic spells to boot. His most commonly used Blue Magic spells are Bad Breath, Time Slip, Goblin Punch, Magic Hammer, and Vampire.

So that's that I suppose.
